Location Named For Town Hall Meeting On Private Dredging In Ocean City
The meeting takes place on Thursday, Oct. 19.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — A location has been tabbed for a neighborhood meeting in which residents will learn about the potential process for residents to conduct private boat slip dredging in Carnival Bayou, Sunny Harbor and South Harbor this fall, Ocean City officials said Tuesday morning.
The meeting is set for Thursday, Oct. 19, 7 p.m. at the Ocean City Tabernacle, 550 Wesley Avenue. The mechanical dredge contractor for Sunny Harbor and South Harbor and the hydraulic contractor for Carnival Bayou will be present at the meeting.
The contractors are authorized to conduct private dredging of slips in advance of a Dec. 1 cutoff date, in accordance with contract requirements. The presentation will include an update on the project timelines and information on the application process.
