A Look Ahead: Upcoming Performances in Ocean City

The following shows will take place in Ocean City, beginning this week, according to Ocean City Public Relations Director Mark Soifer:

The Ocean City High School Drama Guild presents Seussical The Musical on Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, April 18 at 2 pm. and 7:30 p.m. at the Hughes Performing Arts Center, 6th and Atlantic Avenue.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors.

The South Jersey Jazz Society presents The Art of Pure Improvisation by Quartetto presented by Michael Pedicin. It will be a three part series with Pedicin explaining the premise and concept about what is to take place.

The programs are set for April 12, 19 and 26 with Pedicin on the saxophones and other talented musicians accompanying him. All programs are free at 2 p.m. in the Ocean City Free Public Library, Chris Maloney Lecture Hall, 17th and Simpson Avenue.
