'Madagascar: The Musical' Comes To Ocean City This Weekend

The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) and the Ocean City Free Public Library are bringing the musical stage adaptation of the movie.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) and the Ocean City Free Public Library are bringing the musical stage adaptation of the Dreamworks Film “Madagascar” to life.

The show will run in the Lecture Hall of the Ocean City Library, 1735 Simpson Avenue this weekend. Show times are Saturday, Jan. 13, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 14, 2 p.m. Admission is free.

Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto the stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime. “Madagascar: A Musical Adventure” follows all these characters as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.
