Man, 25, Dies In Lower Township Car Crash: Police

A 25-year-old man died in a car accident after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree Saturday night in Lower Township, police announced Thursday morning. Patrick Wood, of Villas, was treated at the scene and taken to Cape Regional Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries, according to police.

Police are investigating the accident, which occurred when Wood drove northbound on Fishing Creek Road, authorities said. Lower Township police, Villas Fire Department and Lower Township EMS responded to the incident, police said.
