Man Arrested In Atlantic City Expressway Shootout: Prosecutor
Four people were injured in last summer's shootout on the Expressway.

A Pleasantville man has been charged in connection with a shooting that left four people injured on the Atlantic City Expressway last summer, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Devan Leggette, 21, was charged with four counts of attempted murder, one count of unlawful possession of a handgun, and one count of possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose.
Police say Leggette was identified by a witness as the driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck that was involved in a shootout with a white Ford Expedition near milepost 11.2 on the Atlantic City Expressway eastbound side on Aug. 29, 2016.

The witness told police he heard gunshots and looked up to see the shootout. He followed the pickup truck off Exit 5 into Pleasantville, and was able to identify the man driving the truck.
At the same time, the Ford Explorer exited the Expressway in Egg Harbor Township. The bullet-riddled car came barreling into the parking lot of a Wawa in the area, missing one wheel. All four people in the expedition had been shot, according to eyewitness accounts at the time.
