Martin Z. Mollusk Will Give His Forecast, Rain or Shine, in Ocean City

Ocean City, NJ -- Despite a forecast that calls for scattered showers throughout the day on Saturday, Ocean City will hold its Martin Z. Mollusk Day ceremonies as scheduled at 11 a.m. at the Ninth Street Beach adjacent to the Ocean City Music Pier.

If necessary, the ceremony will be moved into the covered loggia area of the Music Pier.

According to a longstanding tradition, if Martin sees his shadow, summer comes a week early to Ocean City.

Sunday: Showers likely, mainly before 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 66. Breezy, with a northwest wind 11 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a 10th of an inch possible.
