Miss New Jersey Parade Wows The Boardwalk

In what seemed to be the most elaborate parade of the past couple years, contestants of the Miss New Jersey Pageant traveled the boardwalk on June 12.

Contestants dressed to fit the theme "Villians of the Venue."

The parade included notable villians such as Catwoman, Hamburglar, the Queen of Hearts, and Captain Hook.

Pageant week begins with preliminaries on June 13 and 14, and the final will be on Sat., June 15, at the Ocean City Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace.

Tickets are $35 for each preliminary night and $50 for the final with a $110 ticket covering all three nights. Tickets are now available by calling Mary Lou Cake, 856-424-3564 or on the cell at 609-315-1423.
