SOMERS POINT, NJ — A mobile mammography van will visit ShopRite in Somers Point on Jan. 13. The AMI Foundation’s van sets to make breast-cancer screening easier and more convenient.
The Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van's hours typically range from about 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at each location. The van makes several stops throughout southeastern New Jersey.
The screenings are for women 40 or older with no current or past breast issues. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. A prescription may not be needed.

The mobile van’s radiology services are accredited by the American College of Radiology and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Mammography images are read by board-certified fellowship trained radiologists at Atlantic Medical Imaging.
Call the scheduling department at 609-677-XRAY (9729) to make an appointment and to confirm hours of operation for specific locations.
