Mother Nature's Fireworks Caught In Cherry Hill Woman's Photo

MARGATE CITY, NJ — While towns up and down New Jersey were breaking out fireworks on Wednesday for the start of the Fourth of July celebrations, Mother Nature decided to put on a show of her own.

A Cherry Hill woman captured this photo of a rainbow and a lightning strike over the ocean while she was on the beach in Margate City on Wednesday.

Debra Jacobs-Janove was snapping photos of the rainbow that followed thunderstorms that moved through parts of New Jersey on Wednesday when the bolt of lightning happened.

"I was screaming to my husband, look what I got!" she said Thursday. "I still can't believe I got this shot."

She also captured a faint double rainbow.
