Motorcyclist Fatally Struck In Cape May County: Police

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A motorcyclist died after colliding with a pickup truck Sunday night on Route 9 and Bayview Road, police said. Christopher Greene, 22, of Whitesboro, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A pickup truck collided with two motorcycles at about 7:59 p.m., police said. Evan Harris, 18, of Whitesboro, rode the other motorcycle.

The driver of a 2003 Ford F-150 was making a left turn onto Route 9 when the truck collided with both motorcycles traveling north on Route 9, police said. The other motorcyclist survived the crash, but police did not disclose his condition.

Police closed off Route 9 in Whitesboro for about three hours. The investigation is ongoing.

Members of the Middle Township Police Department Crash Unit, the Middle Township Police Department Major Crime Unit and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office responded to the scene.
