New Chief Sworn In To Ocean City Police Department
Bill Campbell has officially taken over the Ocean City Police Department following the retirement of Jay Prettyman.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City officially has a new chief of police after Bill Campbell was sworn in at a recent City Council meeting.
The room was packed with fellow police officers and family members who burst into cheers and applause after Campbell's swearing in.

According to OCNJDaily, Campbell, 55, has spent his entire law enforcement career in Ocean City, working seasonally from 1989 to 1992 before joining full-time in 1994.
