New Date Set For Planned Power Outage In Ocean City

The planned power outage that has been delayed twice has a new date.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Atlantic City Electric's planned power outage that has been delayed twice has a new date. The planned outage that will affect the area between North Street and 13th Street will now take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian announced.

The outage is expected to last no more than 15 minutes. The planned outage was previously postponed twice due to inclement weather. The city will send notification to residents of the affected area as soon as March 28 approaches.
