New Meeting Times Set For Ocean City Council In 2024

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Changes are coming for the Ocean City Council in 2024, with the addition of a new meeting time.

City Council, which typically meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month, previously held all meetings at 6 p.m.

But earlier in December, they approved a resolution setting the first meeting of the month at 6 p.m. and the second meeting of the month at 10 a.m.

The change in time is to allow more residents the opportunity to attend meetings, Council President Pete Madden told OCNJ Daily.

At the meeting, City Council also set the 2024 meeting schedule. It is as follows:

• July 1 (reorganization meeting - 12 p.m.)
