NJ District 2 Primary Election Results: Van Drew, Grossman Win
Democrat Jeff Van Drew will face Republican Seth Grossman in November to fill Frank LoBiondo's seat.

Democrat Jeff Van Drew and Republican Seth Grossman will face off this November for the Second Congressional District seat soon to be vacated by longtime Rep. Frank LoBiondo.
Van Drew captured the Democratic nomination by defeating three other candidates in Tuesday night's primary. Grossman emerged from a tough Republican Primary, also vanquishing three foes along the way. (See results below, according to Politico).
The Second Congressional District covers all of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties, and parts of Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Ocean counties.

In November, LoBiondo announced he wouldn't seek re-election in 2018. He was first elected in 1994, and is seen as a moderate Republican, and cited increasing political polarization as a reason he wasn't seeking another term.

Democrats:
Jeff Van Drew, 55.4 percent (15,571)
Tanzie Youngblood, 19.2 percent (5,393)
Will Cunningham, 16.8 percent (4,725)
Nate Kleinman, 8.7 percent (2,434)
99% of precincts reporting (518/523), 28,123 total votes
Republicans:
Seth Grossman, 39.1 percent (10,084)
Hirsh Singh, 30.4 percent (7,836)
Sam Fiocchi, 23.5 percent (6,057)
Robert Turkavage, 7.1 percent (1,836)
99% of precincts reporting (518/523), 25,813 total votes
The general election is Nov. 6, 2018. John Ordille will run as a Libertarian, and William Benfer and Anthony Parisi Sanchez are running independent campaigns.
