No Swimming On Ocean City Beaches Friday
"For your own safety, please do not enter the ocean," the Ocean City Beach Patrol said.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Swimming is prohibited at all Ocean City beaches Friday as Hurricane Lee brings rough surf and rip currents to the Jersey Shore.
The Ocean City Beach Patrol sent out an alert Friday morning that there would be no swimming that day.
"For your own safety, please do not enter the ocean," the Ocean City Beach Patrol said.

Ocean City is not the only shore town to ban swimming after a recent string of ocean rescues - and deaths - due to swimmers getting caught in rough surf.
