Ocean City Has Its Own Tony Awards: Vote for 'Mikey' Nominees

The Ocean City Theatre Company is now accepting votes for a mock Tony Awards ceremony scheduled for February.

The Mikeys are named for OCTC Artistic Director Michael Hartman and include nominees from the company's 2011 productions. 

The winners will be announced Feb. 11 during OCTC's first 2012 show, I LOVE NY: A Cabaret of Broadway Love Songs, at the . A 7:15 p.m. dessert reception will kick off the event and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 if ordered before Feb. 9 by calling 609-525-9300. 

In 2011, the company brought Jekyll and Hyde actor  for Broadway on the Boardwalk, performed a great season, hosted , survived a hit from , from the county and hosted During First Night, the company performed three abbreviated versions of Annie and School House Rock Live.
