Ocean City Adds Guarded Beaches Starting This Weekend

A few Ocean City beaches are opening up for the first time this season on Saturday. More will be added throughout June.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Now that summer is getting into full swing, more beaches are opening up and will be guarded starting this weekend.

Beginning on June 4, the following beaches will be guarded.

  • North Street
  • Stenton Place
  • St. Charles
  • Brighton
  • 5th Street
  • 8th Street
  • 9th Street
  • 10th Street
  • 11th Street
  • 12th Street
  • 14th Street
  • 26th Street
  • 30th Street
  • 34th Street
  • 44th Street
  • 58th Street

The Ocean City Beach Patrol will be guarding the beaches from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
