Ocean City Advances in Boys Soccer Playoffs

The Red Raiders visit Cherry Hill West in the quarterfinals on Friday.

The Ocean City High School boys soccer team continues its quest for an NJSIAA South Jersey Group III championship when it faces its second consecutive Camden County foe on Friday, according to nj.com.

This time, though, the Red Raiders must go on the road, when the No. 5 seed visits No. 4 Cherry Hill West in the quarterfinals.

Ocean City advanced with a 3-0 win over No. 12 Timber Creek in the first round.

Matt Brook, Aaron King and Andrew Tomaino all scored in the win. Tucker Perkins and Mike Saul each had an assist.

Goalie Russell Lindsay made seven saves.

Ocean City improved to 9-8-2. Cherry Hill West (10-7-1) advanced with a 6-2 win over ACIT in the first round.
