Is Ocean City America's Best Summer Destination? Cast Your Vote
OCNJ could take home the award for the country's best summer vacation destination in a new poll:
OCEAN CITY, NJ — We all know there's nothing like a trip to Ocean City, but is it the best of the best? That's what a new poll intends to decide.
USA Today has a list of 20 summer vacation destinations for their "10best Readers' Choice 2024" poll. These locations are "must-see" spots and the news organization is hoping readers will whittle that list down to the top 10 best in the country.
And on that list, of course, is OCNJ.

"This family-friendly vacation spot on the Jersey Shore is known for its exciting boardwalk, with shops and eateries galore, views of the Atlantic, plus vintage amusement parks," USA Today writes of Ocean City, giving a shoutout to Playland's Castaway Cove.
As of Wednesday afternoon, according to USA Today's leaderboard, Ocean City is in first place, followed by Michigan's Mackinac Island.

Other nominees range from Bar Harbor, Maine, to Juneau, Alaska, to Sandusky, Ohio.
You can vote once daily through May 13 at 12 p.m. The top 10 will be announced on May 22.
