Ocean City Area Is Best For College Grads, Study Says
The Ocean City metro area is one of the best in the country for recent college graduates, according to a new SmartAsset study.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — It's not just for retirees, like another report says. Ocean City is one of the best spots in the country for new college graduates, according to a recent study.
SmartAsset studied data to rank the best metro areas for grads in the entire country based on metrics for the job market, costs and social aspects. The sixth-best is the Ocean City metropolitan statistical area, according to the study.
The metro area covers the entirety of Cape May County and is based on U.S. Census data.

The Ocean City area is noted by the study for being great for grads looking for things to do. It "has the most restaurants per capita and is second only to Los Angeles when it comes to entertainment venues," SmartAsset said.
According to the data, the median salary for bachelor's degree holders in the area is $63,550. The study also says the basic costs for a single adult is $36,150.

Also examined is the unemployment rate (2.1 percent) and the percentage of residents aged 20-29 (9.3 percent).
