Ocean City Basketball Teams To Open Playoffs With Doubleheader
The boys and girls high school basketball teams are both seeded third in their respective brackets, according to nj.com.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City High School boys and girls basketball teams will open their respective playoff pushes with a doubleheader on Monday, Feb. 26. Both teams are seeded No. 3 in their respective brackets.
The girls are up first, hosting No. 14 Toms River South in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 girls tournament at 5 p.m., according to nj.com. The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 6 Camden Tech and No. 11 Gloucester Tech in the quarterfinals on Feb. 28. The semifinals are set for March 2, with the championship game the following week.
The girls are 14-4 this season, as of Feb. 9. Mainland is the No. 1 overall seed.

The boys take the court at 7 p.m., and will host No. 14 Camden Tech in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 boys tournament, according to nj.com. The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 6 Hammonton and No. 11 Winslow in the quarterfinals on Feb. 28. The semifinals are scheduled for March 2, with the championship game the following week.
The boys are 16-3 this season, as of Feb. 9. Timber Creek is the No. 1 overall seed.
