Ocean City Board of Education to Hold Longport Schools Vote Aug. 27
The Board of Education discussed the matter in closed session this week, according to the Ocean City Gazette.

A vote on whether to enter into a sending/receiving relationship with Longport schools will take place Aug. 27, the Ocean City Gazette reports.
The Ocean City Board of Education was to vote on it this week, but instead opted to go into closed session to discuss and postpone the vote, according to the report.
The Longport Board of Education voted to enter into the agreement on July 7.

That approval paves the way for Longport families to send their children to Ocean City High School without using the School Choice Program, pending approval from the Ocean City Board of Education.
