Ocean City Boardwalk Ranks No. 1 In New Jersey

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City has the best boardwalk in New Jersey, according to nj.com. The publication called Ocean City's boardwalk "the perfect balance of old-school and touristy."

The list, which features 18 boardwalks, considers general quality, parking availability, food and drink accessibility and the crowd.

Here's the top five:

1. Ocean City
2. Wildwood
3. Asbury Park
4. Seaside Heights
5. Point Pleasant Beach

"Gillian's Wonderland Pier, Playland's Castaway Cove and OC Waterpark are excellent attractions, while there is an abundance of classic food options, including Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard," Jeremy Schneider and Bobby Olivier wrote on nj.com.

NJ.com also praised Ocean City's boardwalk restoration project in the rankings.

For what it's worth, nj.com also ranked Ocean City the third-best beach in New Jersey. Beach Haven was No. 2, while Cape May topped the list.
