"Our kids played as hard as they could. In the locker room, we told them that the goal of the game was to play for 32 whole minutes," said coach John Bruno. "I think Kingsway will go on and win for South Jersey. I am very proud of the seniors, we had a great season."
"The seniors are like our sons. They gave everything they had out there and it was all about the effort they put in," added assistant coach Andrew Bristol.
Although Ocean City received one last foul shot, it wasn't enough to keep them in the game. The final score of the game, 48-41, ended the Red Raiders' season.
As for Raider Nation, they had their last hoorah by dressing in beach gear and chanting the whole time.
