Ocean City Boys' Track Team Remains Perfect
Jimmy O'Connor leads the Red Raiders past Millville.
The Ocean City High School boys' track team improved to 7-0 in the Cape-Atlantic League with a 94-86 win over Millville (3-3) earlier this week.
The Red Raiders won 13 overall events, including three first-places by Jimmy O'Connor. O'Connor won the 400-meter hurdles (57.8), high jump (6-2) and the javelin (165-3).
Ben Bethea won two individual events, taking first in the shot put (44-1) and the discus (135-4).

Miles Schoedler won the 1,600-meters (4:40.9) and was part of the winning 4x400 relay team (3:40.2) along with Kevin Scott, Geoff Ely and Cooper Gallagher.
Ely also won the 400-meters (53.4). Other Ocean City winners were Bill Dooner in the 110-hurdles (14.7); Andrew DeMaria in the 800 (2:09.6); Dan Murray in the 3,200 (10:26.4) and Chris Turner in the long jump (21-1).
