Ocean City Business Persons To Take Annual Ocean Plunge
The 16th Annual Business Persons Plunge takes place May 24 to kick off Memorial Day weekend.

OCEAN CITY, N.J. ā Ocean City merchants have a different idea when they hear "swimsuit." At least they will May 24, when Ocean City business persons put on their professional attire and plunge into the ocean.
Ocean City's 16th Annual Business Persons Plunge takes place at noon Friday, May 24 (rain or shine) on the beach adjacent to Ocean City Music Pier. This nationally recognized tradition signifies that Ocean City beaches and businesses are open for the season.
Hundreds of business persons, organizations and Ocean City High School future entrepreneurs will dress in business attire and brief cases. Some merchants will bring their mascots and most loyal customers. The Ocean City High School Band plays "Pomp and Circumstance" as the marchers high-step into the ocean.

Mayor Jay A. Gillian will declare the Boardwalk, downtown and business community open for business and guaranteed fun.
