Ocean City To Celebrate International Surfing Day
Ocean City will hold several surfing and skateboarding events on Friday.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Surf's up in Ocean City, especially on International Surfing Day. The city will hold several surfing and skateboarding events on Friday, June 21.
Free surf lessons will be available from 3-6 p.m. at Seventh Street Beach. There will also be a beach cleanup and paddle out.
Ocean City Skate Park (Fifth Street and Asbury Avenue) will host an evening of skateboarding, live music and food from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

International Surfing Day is typically recognized as the third Saturday in June. The unofficial holiday celebrates surfing, surfing lifestyle and the sustainability of ocean resources.
