OCEAN CITY, NJ — There's a lot of news to keep up with right now — locally, nationally and worldwide. Here's a recap of coronavirus updates in Ocean City and Cape May County.
Cases
The Cape May County Health Department has reported five active cases, 59 people cleared off quarantine and three deaths in Ocean City as of Thursday afternoon. There are eight active cases among non-residents linked to Ocean City.

The CMCHD has logged 57 active cases, 920 people cleared off quarantine and 84 deaths in the county among residents as of Thursday afternoon. Five active cases, 168 cleared off quarantine and 57 deaths are linked to longterm-care facilities.

Recent Updates
- Despite changing state guidelines and the option to begin the school year all-remote, the Ocean City School District will move forward with its reopening plan. MORE.
