Ocean City Council To Consider $9 Million Bond Ordinance Thursday

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City Council will consider a proposed $9 million bond ordinance on introduction for the acquisition of property when it meets Thursday night at City Hall. Ocean City Council will meet on Thursday night, Aug. 23, 7 p.m. at City Hall, 861 Asbury Avenue.

As part of the proposed bond ordinance, the city would borrow $8,550,000 in bonds or notes to purchase the property at 1601-43 Simpson Avenue, 1620 Haven Avenue, 1628-38 Haven Avenue and 1644-46 Haven Avenue, according to the agenda packet. It includes a $450,000 down payment.
