Allegretto serves as Chairman for the Tourist Development Commission.
Council will also consider an ordinance on second reading that deals with a number of changes in the city’s ordinance concerning parking meters and time limit parking.
It includes the addition of 51 parking spaces in the area of the proposed skateboard park.
The complete list of changes can be found in the agenda packet.
Council will also consider an ordinance on introduction to eliminate a deed restriction implemented following Superstorm Sandy. The restriction is on properties where the increased elevation of the first floor resulted in a crawl space or storage room more than five feet in height. The restriction was imposed to alert subsequent owners that the space couldn’t be used for a bathroom or “habitable space.”
The Environmental Commission will also present its annual report.
There are also six items on the consent agenda.
