City Council meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

Ocean City Council will meet for the first time since Keith Hartzell was named Council President on Thursday night, 7 p.m. at City Hall. There are no ordinances up for first or second reading, but there are 14 items on the consent agenda.

Included are:

  • a $19,858.20 change order to the existing contract for the installation of the track at Carey Field, due to a design change due to inadequate existing asphalt conditions below the planned rubber surface. The total amount of the contract is now $664,008.20;
  • allowing the City to join in a national cooperative in order to purchase a 2015 Toro Groundmaster 7200 mower for $18,093.77;

  • the rejection of bids for back bay dredging;
  • the rejection of bids for racquetball court improvements;
  • the approval of construction plans for the skateboard park;
  • the adoption of rules associated with the skateboard park; and
