The newly-elected councilman is seeking input from his constituents in the Fourth Ward.

Ocean City, NJ -- Newly elected Ocean City Councilman Bob Barr is looking for some input from his constituents in the Fourth Ward with his first ward meeting this weekend.

Barr will hold his first ward meeting on Saturday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m. at the library. Ensuing ward meetings will take place on the third Saturday of every other month thereafter.

Barr’s first meeting will be an open workshop in which he takes input from residents.

“There will be a microphone and an easel,” Barr said. “A person will come up to the microphone, voice their concerns and we’ll put it up there.”

Other meetings will be more structured, with specific topics and guest speakers. Residents will always have a chance to voice their concerns.
