OCEAN CITY, NJ — If you're trying to send an email to someone who works for the City of Ocean City and they don't respond, don't get mad. They're not ignoring you; they just didn't get your email.
The e-mail system for the City of Ocean City was down on Wednesday, Dec. 6, city officials announced. IT staff is working to restore the service, but the interruption may continue through Thursday, Dec. 7.
All e-mails sent to the city during this time will be preserved, but the city team has no access to them and cannot respond. Senders will not receive any error message.
