Ocean City Families Invited To 'The Berenstain Bears' At Music Pier
The July 21 morning show at the Music Pier is part of Ocean City Theatre Company's 2026 Children's Theatre Series.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City families are invited to the Ocean City Music Pier on Tuesday, July 21, when Ocean City Theatre Company will present "The Berenstain Bears" at 10:30 a.m. The show is part of OCTC's 2026 Children's Theatre Series, a summer lineup aimed at young audiences and families.
According to OCTC, the series has been creating summer memories for children and families for more than 14 years. At this performance, children are encouraged to bring their favorite teddy bear. All Children's Theatre Series performances are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the Music Pier.
The production is based on the books by Stan and Jan Berenstain and follows familiar characters through Bear Country. According to the event announcement, the show highlights the importance of family and draws from a variety of classic "Berenstain Bears" books. OCTC described the production as family-friendly and suitable for audiences of all ages.

The company said the show continues its tradition of bringing live theater to the Jersey Shore. OCTC also said its Children's Theatre Series is designed to introduce young audiences to live performance and to engage and inspire them through the summer program.
Additional productions in the 2026 Children's Theatre Series are already scheduled at the Music Pier. "Junie B. Jones" is set for July 28, and "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" is scheduled for Aug. 4.

Tickets for "The Berenstain Bears" and the rest of the series are available at oceancitytheatrecompany.com. Tickets cost $11 in advance and $13 on the day of the performance. OCTC's box office at the Music Pier opens at 9:30 a.m. on show days.
