Ocean City FC Helps Create Jersey Premier Soccer
The goal is to improve soccer development in the state
Ocean City FC will partner with the Global Premier Soccer network to launch Jersey Premier Soccer, which will offer soccer products and services as well as introduce a School of Excellence Program to New Jersey towns.
The School of Excellence Program's goal is to create an improved player development environment in the state through curriculum, coach education and year-round coaching from professional coaches, according to the organization's press release.
Ocean City FC operates the Ocean City Nor'easters, which plays in the USL Premier Development League.

Jersey Premier Soccer will be based out of Ocean City and working with existing soccer clubs to crate and develop premier teams.
"As well as a unique club system, methodology and support network, JPS will bring a curriculum that has developed national team players and a culture that brings townships and clubs together," said Jersey Premier Soccer General Manager Neil Holloway. "JPS will strive to create more opportunities for players and help players fulfill their potential."

The goal of the organization is to develop better soccer players.
"JPS will provide players and families in southern New Jersey a tried and tested player development model that has produced regional and national caliber youth players and teams throughout the GPS network," said Holloway. "We look forward to providing a pathway to the collegiate and professional level for our players as JPS becomes the Premier club in southern New Jersey and beyond."
Coaches Martin Punt and Christy Holly will join Jersey Premier Soccer and the established coaching and training staff at Ocean City.
"We expect to make an immediate impact in the local player development environment by combining our resources and taking a collaborative approach to building programming," GPS CEO Joe Bradley said.
