Ocean City Football Team Drops Another Close Decision
The Red Raiders fell to Millville Friday night.

The Ocean City High School football team was in another close game Friday night. This time, it was a late 66-yard touchdown pass that doomed the Red Raiders, The Press of Atlantic City reports.
Millville defeated Ocean City, 20-13. Will Polhamus’ 66-yard pass to Carlton Lawrence provided the winning touchdown with just under five minutes left in the game.
The Thunderbolts scored the first two touchdowns of the game to take a 13-0 lead.

Owen Naplacic put Ocean City on the board in the first quarter with a 6-yard run. Andrew Donoghue hit Christian Baumgardner with a 37-yard pass to tie the game in the second quarter.
Ocean City fell to 1-5, but has been competitive in all but one game this year. Millville improved to 3-2.
