Two Touchdowns Not Enough as Ocean City Football Team Falls to Vineland

Vineland defeated Ocean City, 26-14, according to nj.com.

Owen Naplacic’s two touchdowns weren’t enough to help the Ocean City High School football team on Friday night.

Vineland prevented the Red Raiders from jumping out to a 2-0 start with a 26-13 win, according to the box score posted on nj.com.

Naplacic’s 7-yard touchdown run in the second quarter tied the game after Vineland took the lead in the first quarter.

Naplacic’s 53-yard run for a score gave Ocean City the 14-7 lead in the third quarter.

However, Isaih Pacheco scored the next two touchdowns on the ground to give Vineland the lead on its way to the eventual win. It was part of a 105-yard, three touchdown night for Pacheco.
