Ocean City Girls Swim Team Receives Double Bye in Playoffs
The Red Raiders earned the top seed in the playoffs.

By the time the undefeated Ocean City High School girls swim team enters the NJSIAA South Jersey Group B playoffs, it should be well-rested. The Red Raiders’ opponents will be battle-tested, and may already have two meets under their belt.
Ocean City earned the top seed in the tournament on Thursday, according to nj.com. It received a double bye into the semifinals of the eight-team field.
Its side of the bracket begins on Feb. 2 when No. 5 Cherry Hill West hosts No. 8 Toms River South. The winner of that visits No. 4 Clearview on Feb. 5, with Ocean City hosting the winner of that meet on Feb. 8.

The championship meet at Gloucester Tech is on Feb. 11.
Moorestown is the No. 2 overall seed and also receives a double bye.

No. 5 Gloucester Tech hosts No. 8 Mainland on Feb. 2, with the winner visiting No. 3 Shawnee on Feb. 5. Moorestown hosts the winner of that meet on Feb. 8.
Ocean City was 8-0 during the regular season.
