Ocean City High School Field Hockey Team Advances to Semifinals With 8-0 Win

Lauren McNally’s three goals helped the Ocean City High School field hockey team advance to the semifinals of the South Jersey Group III playoffs with an 8-0 win over Mainland, according to nj.com.

McNally also picked up an assist for the Red Raiders, seeded No. 2.

Rialee Allen had two goals and three assists and Jordan Allegretto added two goals in the win.

Maria Farnan also scored, and Kelly Hanna had three assists.

The Red Raiders quieted the offense of a seventh-seeded Mainland team that scored nine goals in its first round win over Winslow.

Ocean City will host No. 3 Central Regional, a 2-1 overtime winner over No. 6 Seneca, in the semifinals.
