Ocean City High School Football Team Kicks Off Season Friday Night
The Red Raiders have three starters back on offense and defense.

Ocean City, NJ -- The Ocean City High School football team returns three starters on offense and defense, and has a range of players with experience, according to the Ocean City Gazette.
Senior quarterback Andrew Donaghue threw for 1,181 yards and seven touchdowns last season, and his 1,750 career yards are the sixth most in school history.
Junior Art Spackman returns at tackle, and senior guard Mark Kolmer returns after missing last season with an injury.

Dan Walsh returns at both running back and linebacker. He led the team in tackles last season.
It’s a season of change for the Red Raiders, who will play in a new league (the West Jersey Football League), and will move up in group from Group 3 to Group 4.

They will also play on artificial turf beginning this year.
Ocean City’s first regular season home game is Sept. 23 against Cedar Creek, 7 p.m.
The Red Raiders open the season on Friday night, 7 p.m., at Oakcrest.
