Ocean City High School Girls Basketball Team Off To 2-0 Start
The boys are 1-1, and the wrestling team finished third at the Gator Tournament, according to nj.com.

Ocean City, NJ -- The Ocean City High School girls basketball team is off to a 2-0 start this season, and has yet to let an opponent score 30 points, according to box scores posted on nj.com.
The Red Raiders opened the season with a 38-18 victory over Middle Township Friday night. Michaela Baker led the way with 11 points and nine rebounds for the Red Raiders.
Rosalia Daddi dropped seven points, including a three, grabbed two rebounds, dished out an assist and made two steals in the win.

On Sunday night, Daddi was the leading scorer, with nine points and 10 rebounds in a 65-26 win over Atlantic City. She had a trey in this game as well. Baker had six points, five rebounds, an assist and a steal.
The Red Raiders return to action Tuesday night at home against Oakcrest, 5:30 p.m.

The boys have scored more than 60 points in each of their first two games, but are 1-1, according to box scores posted on nj.com.
On Friday, the Red Raiders opened the season with a 61-25 win over Vineland.
On Sunday night, Ocean City dropped an 83-60 decision to Atlantic City at home.
Ocean City returns to the hardcourt Tuesday night at Oakcrest, 6 p.m.
In wrestling action, Nick Williams captured the championship at 170 pounds in the Gator Tournament at Gateway Regional High School, according to nj.com. He won the title with a 2-0 sudden victory over Gateway's Matt Geotz in the final.
Three other Ocean City grapplers advanced to the finals in their respective weight classes.
Nick Loesch fell to Gateway's Dante Mininno via pinfall at 138 pounds; Pasquale Locantore dropped a 7-2 decision to St. Joe of Hammonton's Mike Mascioli; and Ed Mejia fell to Triton's Jake Brown, 17-11, in the heavyweight final.
Ocean City finished third as a team with 161 points. Gateway won the team title with 263.5 points.
