Ocean City High School Seeks Nominees For Athletics Hall Of Fame
Applications will be accepted through Feb. 2.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City High School Athletic Hall of Fame is looking for nominations for its fall class. The Hall of Fame develops pride in these athletic traditions, creates role models in the community, and preserves the rich history of achievements, school officials said in the announcement.
“The preservation of the Ocean City High School’s long-standing athletic history and accomplishments is important as it connects our current student athletes with the former ones,” Ocean City Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Taylor said. “The promotion of former athletic greats through the Ocean City Athletic Hall of Fame Induction will recognize and celebrate these outstanding athletes and give our students and families a blueprint for a successful athletic career in high school.”
Anyone who would like to nominate a former athlete, coach, or contributor to be part of this distinctive tradition can complete the nomination form and return it to Ocean City High School Athletic Director Vince Leavey. Leavey can be contacted at vleavey@ocsdnj.org or 609-399-1390, ext. 6656.
