Ocean City High School Sports Teams on a Roll This Season
The Red Raiders wrestling and basketball teams went a combined 12-0 in recent events.

The Ocean City High School girls basketball team continues to win following an opening day loss to Mainland. The Red Raiders have now reeled off seven victories in a row, including two last week, according to nj.com.
Ocean City opened the week with a 49-17 win over St. Joseph in a game where the Red Raiders defense didn’t allow more than nine points in any individual quarter, and Ocean City held a 35-4 lead at halftime.
Ocean City then downed Oakcrest, 50-31, which included a 10-0 shutout in the second quarter.

The Red Raiders are 7-1 this season, and aren’t the only Ocean City sports team on a roll.
Since a third-place finish at the Hammonton Duals, the Ocean City High School wrestling team is 4-0 in dual meets, according to nj.com.

Victories include a 46-26 win over Washington Township; a 72-3 win over Middle Township; a 78-0 shutout of Atlantic City; and a 39-27 win over Holy Spirit.
The Red Raiders are 8-4 overall this season.
The Ocean City High School boys basketball team went 3-0 last week to move to 8-3 on the season, according to nj.com.
First the Red Raiders defeated Cumberland, 75-67. Ocean City led 41-22 at halftime, and was able to fend off a Cumberland comeback despite being outscored 45-34 in the second half.
Next was a 65-61 win over St. Joseph.
Ocean City capped the week with a 62-39 win over Oakcrest. Garrett Jones led the way with 20 points, followed by Connor Laverty, who had 18. Luciano Lubrano dropped 11 points in the win.
