Ocean City High School Students Sending Valentine's Cards Overseas
The school is participating in Lite Rock 96.9's card drive.

Students at Ocean City High School continued a 10-year tradition of sending Valentine’s Day cards to troops overseas, according to the Ocean City Gazette.
Last year, students sent 1,285 cards to troops as part of a card drive hosted by Lite Rock 96.9, according to the report.
The radio station is also collecting teddy bears and black socks at its location at 950 Tilton Road in Northfield Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., until Thursday.

Lite Rock 96.9 partners with American Recreation Military Services for the drive.
“More troops from New Jersey are deployed right now than at any time since 2005. Approximately 1200 New Jersey soldiers, about 850 of them New Jersey Guardsmen and women, are serving across the world, in places such as Africa, Kuwait, Qatar, and Afghanistan,” according to the radio station’s website.
