The only reason given by the district is that it isn’t accepting siblings as part of the program, according to the report. The district felt there might be a backlash if it accepted Upper Township students and not siblings.
Upper Township began participating in the School District this year, when it was granted and filled 35 seats, according to the report. It receives nearly $400,000 in tuition as part of the program, according to the report.
