Ocean City 'Jeopardy!' Star Takes On 'Tournament Of Champions'
Fan favorite and Ocean City local Cris Pannullo is returning to try and cement his place as one of the "Jeopardy!" all-time greats.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Trivia lovers, take note. Ocean City's own is returning to "Jeopardy!" to hopefully join the list of the show's all-time greats.
"Tournament of Champions" returns on Feb. 23, and this year's roster includes Cris Pannullo, the Ocean City local who took the show by storm in 2022 with his historic run.
Pannullo's ended his run with a win streak of 21 games (the sixth-most consecutive wins in the show's history), a total of $749,268 (his winnings, plus an extra $1,000 for coming in third; also the fifth-highest winnings in during regular season play).

On paper, he seems to be the frontrunner - compared to the other contestants (27 in total, the most in the show's history), Pannullo is the highest earner, and has the longest win streak.
His return will air Feb. 26, where he goes up against fellow champs Ben Goldstein from Michigan and Jared Watson from Texas.

Along with bragging rights, the ultimate winner takes home $250,000.
There was no "Tournament of Champions" in 2023 due to the WGA strike.
During his initial run, Pannullo quickly became a fan favorite even with those outside Ocean City, becoming known for his risk-taking - he often spent the game chasing down Daily Doubles.
"Jeopardy!" airs on NBC Monday through Friday.
