Ocean City Library Holding Safe Boating Class
Students who successfully complete the class will receive a "Safe Boating" Certificate.
OCEAN CITY, N.J. — Want to boat on New Jersey State Waters? The Ocean City Free Public Library presents a class on safe boating.
The class takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 18. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a "Safe Boating" Certificate, which is required to operate a boat or personal watercraft (PWC) on New Jersey State Waters.
District 5 of the United States Power Squadrons will teach the class. The course costs $55, and preregistration is required. Bring your own lunch as well.
