Ocean City Lifeguards On More Beaches This Weekend

Here's where and when the Ocean City Beach Patrol will occupy beaches this weekend.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — More beaches in Ocean City will have lifeguards this weekend. The Ocean City Beach Patrol keeps a lookout from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekends and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The OCBP will guard the following beaches starting Saturday:

  • North Street
  • Stenton Place
  • St. Charles Place
  • Brighton Place
  • 5th Street
  • 8th Street
  • 9th Street
  • 10th Street
  • 11th Street
  • 12th Street
  • 14th Street
  • 26th Street
  • 30th Street
  • 34th Street
  • 44th Street
  • 58th Street

The OCBP strongly urges people to only swim at guarded beaches. Beachgoers must stay at least 6 feet away from strangers. Mask and face coverings are recommended.

Tents and canopies won't be permitted between 1st and 10th Streets. On other beaches, their size is limited to 8 feet wide by 6 feet tall. They must be placed at the back of the beach within 10 feet of the seaward side of the dunes.
