Ocean City Man Had 20 Pounds Of Marijuana: Police

A man had about 20 pounds of marijuana in an apartment in the Ocean City Housing Authority, police announced Wednesday. Police seized the marijuana, along with large amounts of THC-laced edibles and oils in a search warrant Friday on the 400 block of Haven Avenue, officials said.

Seth F. Wood, 19, was also charged with distributing drugs within 500 feet of a public place and within 1,000 feet of a school, according to police. Authorities executed the search warrant after a month-long investigation into drug sales from that location, police said.

The Ocean City Detective Bureau also seized $11,000 in U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia and a motor vehicle, police said. Wood was released pending court.
