OCEAN CITY, NJ — It's great to spend the summer at Ocean City. But have you considered visiting in the off-season? Apparently, a lot of people have, according to vacation rental company Airbnb. Their data said that Ocean City is the top-booked spot for fall vacations this year.
Labor Day weekend is one of the most popular times to book a vacation, particularly for those looking for one last summer trip, according to Airbnb.
While summer is obviously the most popular time for a beach trip, fall has its merits as well. Fewer people and cooler weather make it a great getaway.

Many fall trips are booked for beaches and college towns, Airbnb said. Ocean City, however, was the only spot on the East Coast.
